Concept Property Branding for a
residential project in Montreal, Canada

2022

The concept visual identity for L’Escher House, a converted duplex in Montreal, is inspired by the angular steel staircase that crosses through the residence driven by the fantastical paintings of Dutch artist MC Escher. The logo design features a modified letter S, converted to a reverse letter Z directly referencing the zigzag pattern of the stairs and paying homage to Escher’s iconic imagery. A further explored visual identity embraces the playful nature of luxury innovative architecture, with a focus on perspectives.

The typography is elegantly stylised capturing the essence of sophistication and adding to the overall sense of luxuriousness. The colour palette is reflected through the colours of the property’s interior design, incorporating warm and inviting olive green and brass ochre, while classic black and white signify architectural integrity and structural elements.
